Handling

To ensure the best care for your garment, we recommend the following washing and maintenance guidelines.

  • Handwash all garments inside out in cold or lukewarm water.
  • Gently press out water from the garment; avoid wringing or squeezing forcefully.
  • Exercise caution around sharp objects and when using fingernails to prevent damage.

It’s best to avoid machine washing or submerging PU sharkskin fabric in water, as this can damage the material and cause wrinkles or stains.

  • For the outside (PU-coated surface):
    Gently wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking it. After cleaning, use a dry cloth immediately to remove any remaining moisture.

  • For the inside (fabric backing):
    You can clean it by wiping with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent. Then use another damp cloth with clean water to wipe off any detergent residue. Let it air dry.

This method helps keep the fabric looking smooth and prevents any damage to the surface or shape.

Coated fabrics, while offering certain advantages like glammy and shiny appearance, tend to be less durable than their uncoated counterparts. Garments made from these fabrics are prone to wear and tear, especially when subjected to vigorous activities such as sports involving a lot of movement or swimming. Therefore it is advisable to avoid using them for daily activities to ensure their longevity.

How To Measure

Getting a garment that fits well starts with accurate body measurements.

Please compare your own measurements carefully to those of the size table. If you are off this chart or between sizes it is highly recommended to order our items made to measure to get an optimal fit.

Do not order a smaller size than actually needed. Our sizes run small and the garment will be too small. More information regarding sizes can be found in our FAQ.

1. BODY HEIGHT
Your body height when standing flat on the ground (as outlined in your ID document).

2. TORSO MEASUREMENT
Starting at one shoulder, wrap the measuring tape down your body, between your legs right against the leg crease, bringing the tape up your back to the point where you started.

3. CHEST MEASUREMENT
Measure around the fullest part of your bust straight across the back.

4. WAIST MEASUREMENT
Measure around your natural waist (smallest part of the waist).

5. HIPS MEASUREMENT
Stand with your heels together using a tape measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear. Use a mirror standing sideways to ensure you are at the fullest point.

6. INSEAM
Measure from the center of your crotch down the inside of your leg until the ankle bone.
