Two panels, one curve.
The body is split by a single curved seam that sweeps from the shoulder down through the waist and out over the hip. It is worked in a contrast thread, so the join between the two panels is also the line that shapes the suit.
Where the seam meets the leg.
The leg opening runs in a shallow curve, cut for coverage rather than height, and the panel seam comes down to meet it just above. The two lines cross at a single point on the front, and the satin holds its shine right through the turn.
Open across the shoulders.
A racerback, with the straps set in from the armhole and a wide scoop between the shoulder blades. Every edge is bound and topstitched twice, so the frame of the opening is drawn in the same thread as the front.
